Base is £55,000 in structured finance, not sure on exact number for commercial banking but is lower
Hi! Thank you for this. I was just wondering how difficult it was to move into structured finance from commercial banking.
Not that tricky to be honest, but SF is the most popular group (most similar to IBD, though they only do work on the debt side) hence I am not sure how much one should bank on switching.
Out of interest (sorry it's out of the blue) - what's bonus like in SF for Analysts. Is the pay bump to Associate similar to market base (80-90k) and how does TC looks like across junior roles?
Bonus in the grad scheme is not great at around 10% base. After the scheme comp depends on which team you move to, the lev fin or infra teams your comp is c.85k and bonuses are more market. However there are some rolloff positions where comp is 60k (bonus still ok once you roll off)
