RE to IB?
I'm a third year undergrad in a 5 year program here in Toronto (UofT management and finance co-op, prob non-target). I want to land in IB and have 2 internships under my belt.
First one is at a top F500 tech firm, mainly worked on the operational side with some exposure to financial analysis.
The second one I was on the investment team of a hospitality firm, focused on commercial real estate and land acquisition.
Since my program has off-cycle co-op, I'm planning to have 4 internships before graduating, or 3 if I can land in IB/PE next.
Right now I'm trying to land a off cycle IB/PE internship for 2022, is this even possible given my program and experience?
How should I leverage my experience for IB? If not, would it be better if I aim for something like a search fund next and then IB on 4th?
