Recruitment for Transfers?

Transferring to a regional semi-target this Fall, going to be a Sophomore. It seems 2021 SA has already started- anyone have input on what the recruitment cycle should look like for me? I'm thinking:

Sophomore Year: Settle in, build my GPA (going to start fresh), join clubs/leadership positions, network, recruit for Sophomore boutique and Junior MM/BB internshipsSA Sophomore Summer: Boutique IB, brand name, etc Junior Year: Full-time recruiting/networking Junior Summer: BB/MM SA

Hoping to stay in my regional (Chicago), not NYC. Thanks!
