Regional Boutique IB to MBA

Hey guys,

Would love some insight or feedback regarding my chances at M7 MBA programs based on my current profile. I'm not looking to go to grad school till fall 2023 or 2024 but I'm trying to figure out how I can boost up my application till then. Any feedback or advice would be much appreciated!

1)   GMAT - Taking the exam later this summer. Aiming for ~720-730 based on my practice tests

2) Work Experience - 2 years as an Analyst (Now Senior Analyst) at a sector focused Regional Boutique Investment Bank. A couple of my MD's (went to the M7 schools) have been willing to write me recommendation letters when I do decide to apply. On track to be promoted to Associate in 1.5-2 years from now.

3) Undergrad - Graduated in 2019 from a non-target school (ranked between 25-30 in the country), 3.02 GPA (Biggest weakness for me and not going to make a bunch of excuses on here for this but really want to offset this somehow)

4) Extra-curriculars - Built out a venture incubator to support university students in India gain access to a network of investors and mentors.

Questions where I'd love some insight or advice:

1) Should I move to a bigger, more well known Investment Bank? And will this help me with my chances when I apply for my MBA? Or would it be better to stay where I am and grow through the ranks to show career progression within the same firm?

2) Is there anything I can do to offset my poor GPA? Open to any online classes (HBS Core Online), etc if that would be helpful but can't tell if thats worth the time.

3) Any general advice on ways I can improve my application would help too!

Happy to provide any further insight into my background if that would be helpful or even connect directly. I'd greatly appreciate any insight here! Thank you All!
