Don't really hear about or see Regions Bank/Regions Securities on this site. From my understanding, their Tech & Defense Group and Capital Markets Group do a lot of LevFin deals, but I'm not sure what the capabilities of Regions look like for investment banking.
Anyone know how Regions fairs against other MM/regional banks in terms of deal flow, comp, and exit opps?

They own BlackArch Partners, which is a boutique that competes for $50-200mm mandates in Charlotte. From my understanding, BlackArch does exclusively M&A while Regions itself doesn’t do much M&A

Correct. So whereas at most MM banks you’ll get a lot of sell side M&A experience, you’ll get very little, if any, at Regions. Other regional banks like SunTrust/Truist get a good amount of M&A deal flow too.
