Rejections Suck
Just using this forum as an outlet to release my frustration.
Had 2 superdays so far, one BB (MS/JP/GS) and one EB (EVR/PJT/PWP). One of them was my absolute dream firm, and not getting in was a real kick in the balls, especially when seeing the "Incoming Summer Analyst" updates on LinkedIn. Sometimes I just look in the mirror and want to smash my face for not seizing these opportunities.
Anyway, back to the king grind
You need to take a shot at a middle market firm then dude. Quit reaching for the stars.
Fat mood
Your last sentence was key -- keep grinding. You'll get something good. And there's ton of good/great stuff out there besides your dream job, trust me.
