Remote IB Internship - big disadvantage networking wise?

If there are, in fact, remote internships... it'll obviously be weird, as there seems like there'll be little-to-no chance to network and/or establish a real rapport with the other bankers... based on the experience of former interns, how much of a disadvantage do you think this will be for summer 2020 interns? In other words, seems like you can usually score points two ways: the full-timers like you, and you do really good work... but if things are remote, seems like much lesser chance that you can form positive relationship with the full-timers. While, of course, nobody knows if this will be the case, does this sound accurate?
