Has anyone you know of reneged Evercore/CVP/PJT for GS/MS/JPM or the other way around? How did it go?
What about PWP/MoCo for BAML/Citi? What would be a trade that would be “worth” it, in your opinion?

I reneged an EB for GS/MS/JPM, worth it for me personally but wouldn't recommend for everyone.
When would it be worth it/not worth it? Thanks in advance.
Its a personal choice of EB vs BB, I personally knew I wanted a BB experience and thus chose the BB offer. I would say if the only thing you care about is PE exit opps than any EB will be just fine. Renegging as its not as heinous as some people make it out to be is still not optimal, you just don't want to do it if you can avoid it.
Not really a big deal. If you would definitely love the BB experience more, than I would go for it. Worry less about pros/cons of reneging and more about which place you’d rather work at.

I’m biased because I’m at an EB, but BBs have much larger class sizes, financing and capital markets groups, sometimes larger deal teams (My friends sometimes have 2 analysts on a deal), and more products outside of M&A, like IPOs
Not surprising that firm he left blacklisted him -- I think you have to assume that that will almost always be the case. More important issue seems to be will the firm you are going to care that you reneged on another firm.
