Renege FT IB offer to Coach Ball?
Play ball in college, currently in my senior year. I have always wanted to coach. My college coach got a new job and asked me to come work for him next year. I would make essentially $0 (probably net negative) after expenses/taxes in this role, working IB type hours. However, salary progression is steep - one of the few jobs you could make 7 figures by 30.
Current thought process is no? I’m thinking it would be easier to go from finance to coaching than it would coaching back to finance…
Depends. Is this within the P5? How is the current roster? Unfortunately, your career outcome will be decided on by the performance of the team.
