Reneging on top S&T offer for BB IBD

Hi everyone, I'm currently a junior right now at a target school and want to go into IB. This past summer I did a sophomore S&T internship at a top BB (MS/GS/JPM) and received a return offer, which I signed last month because it felt like a safe move. S&T was great and all, but I kind of regret doing that knowing that I really want to be in IBD. I've applied to other banks for IB internships, and so far have had a few first round interviews.

If I successfully navigate to a superday and get an offer, how bad would it be to reneg on the S&T offer? Or should I just do S&T again this summer and network hard to switch over to IBD?

If I pursue MM/boutique would this change anything?
