Never let him send the last email. If someone follows up with a thank you, be sure to reply "You're Welcome" or a variation. If someone sends a "You're welcome" email, be sure to reply with "it was my pleasure". It's polite to get the last word in for an email chain
that makes sense too but at some point i feel like an idiot replying to what is clearly meant to be a closing email
Man I actually feel bad trolling sometimes. If the actual rule was that it's polite to always send the last email, then no email chain would ever end. Everyone would be trying to be polite. Jesus
