Request for CV Review

Hi!

I am currently pursuing a Masters in Management from ESSEC Business School, France. I am trying to find a first internship in M&A but haven't been getting positive responses to my applications. I have applied to several boutique/MM investment banks in France and the UK.

I hold a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Delhi, India and have previous internship experiences in credit analysis and portfolio management. I am looking for advice on how I can improve my CV to get interview invites. So, all criticisms and suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

NYCslick - thanks for the advice.

PE_Reaper - shouldn't I put school rankings on my CV? My Bschool is not very well known outside of France so I thought it would be a good idea to let the recruiter know that the programme I am in is quite well ranked. I hope that doesn't come across as bragging. Does it?

yea agree with Charizard below: you're either a target or non-target. I see this sometimes on US resumes (Top-10 ugrad business school from some obscure ranking), and it just reeks insecurity. Your best bet is to aggressively network with London bankers (I assume that's where you want to go). Remember that you'll be competing against the top French "ecoles de commerce" (mainly HEC Paris), as well as strongly preferred engineering schools (Polytechnique, NormalSup, Centrale etc.)
