Restructuring practices in Canada?

Have seen a lot of posts on restructuring in the US, was wondering if anyone had any insight into restructuring in Canada. What are the top firms and do many of the US firms operate restructuring practices out of Canadian cities like Toronto?

RX is really different in Canada due to regulation. RX is looked at either from an:

a) accounting perspective (which the Big 4 handle - the work is not at all the same, much more granular and in the weeds)

b) RX Consulting (think Alvarez, FTI...) and they typically hire from those with accounting backgrounds

I am trying to find people to contact who work in restructuring at BMO or other canadian banks. Do you have the chance to know any? I am applying for summer analyst positions and I hesitate to mention restructuring as one of my objectives. I'm wondering if I should mention that I want to work in restructuring in my cover letter and during interviews or if I should avoid and talk about M&A because restructuring is not that "established"?

I recall seeing a headline from Reorg saying that Greenhill was working with Cirque du Soleil (live show entertainment company based in Montreal, Canada) on its restructuring. Doesn’t GHL have a Canada office? Do they have dedicated RX there?
