Restructuring, Valuations or FSR?

Hi all. I have been working as a consultant at a Big 4 for over a year. I am currently mapped to a group that mostly focuses on technology consulting, therefore I am planning on transferring to a group that is more finance focused and eventually (after 3-4 years) move into finance.

So far, I have found 3 groups that I am interested in joining.

  1. Restructuring
  2. Transaction Services - Valuations
  3. FSR (Financial Instruments, Structured Products and Real Estate)

Could anybody tell me which group does work that will allow me to join a PE, a hedge fund, or an IB after 3-4 years?
