Resume Drop
I was shocked when I saw a Citi SA position posted on my school's career website as I go to a complete nontarget. They were not doing On campus interviews just resume drop. The recruiters name is listed. Would it be inappropriate for me to email her and let her know my interest in i banking and Citi in general etc? How would I phrase it?
Not inappropriate. Feel free to shoot an e-mail and ask for an informational.
Don't bother. All she'll do is shoot you standard company propaganda that everyone gets. HR people don't have any bearing on the outcomes of resume screens.
She isn't HR, I looked her up and she is an associate. So you think just ask for an informational and go from there?
