Resume - how do you list transactions that haven't closed or didn't close?
Lot of good experience from processes that either are still ongoing, or died after a month or more. Since there's no closed transaction to refer to, and companies need to remain anonymous, maybe its "Sale of XYZ-broad-type-of-company to ABC-broad-type-of-buyer". Thoughts?
By the way, this refers to investment banking experience.

Obviously you can't name the company--but you really need to be careful here because often you can tell what company you are referring to even if you say "x industry company with revnues of y billion". Something like this can actual conflict an MD out in some cases--which will guarantee you not to get hired -- probably less of an issue if recruting for PE than lateralling.
Will definitely defer to others on this, but if you have enough experience without including non closed (or announced) deals,, that's the safest bet...realize that may not be an option though.
Thanks. Hear you and agree. But, if one's on the cusp of having enough deals closed and need maybe one more bullet to be robust, do you think that can be met by looser descriptions that at least, say, 10 companies would meet?
If so, for the sake of "looser", do you think including a revenue range (e.g., "with revenues of $5 - 10B", which is pretty wide) would be effective?

Why would your one page resume get into granularity that would identify dead or in process deals? That's your interview discussion material.
