Take this with a grain of salt b/c I'm no expert: Last summer seemed to be a bit rougher than most, I think for a handful of reasons (less dealflow, AI incoming = overhiring for that SA class). I assume since this group interviewed around that time as well, the same may apply here and then level out with this next class that just interviewed this year. Even so, return offer rates it seemed were still >60% on the low end

 

I agree with the above, as I was a part of the no return offer for last summer. This summer I assume will be much harder, because yes AI will play such a key role in lower returns. I think the typical banks that usually have high returns will be fine, but MMs will be hit hard imo.
