Return to Office - What If You Don't?
Obviously being a junior in banking over the past 15 months has been a spectacular shitshow, with firms starting to have hard / soft deadlines for enforcing RTO, and I started wondering what would happen if you decided to simply not return to the office. Some groups are so short staffed, and the market for junior talent so tight, that I'm thinking it's a possibility firms might be "flexible" for how that all plays out. Even more obvious is that they would fuck you come bonus time, but let's exclude that consideration entirely for this purpose.
Any anecdotes where people have started pushing back are always appreciated
curious as well.
Doubt anyone would risk it but yeah they'd probably be flexible with you doing WFH.
bump. has anyone told their boss/manager that they aren't going to heed to going back into the office and will just be WFH from here on out?
