I also want to recognize the overall WSO Academy experience. Between the modeling bootcamp, the company research work, the mentorship, and sessions like this one, the program has given me structure and support during a career transition that can otherwise feel isolating. I mean no matter how you spin the yarn and Accounting gig is an Accounting gig. I noticed you had some sort of role in a student run fund. Make that seem more important than it is and use this as your ticket in. In your interviews you can say: I was doing Accounting blah blah blah, but my recent exposure to financial analysis through this activity helped me decide that Accounting is not right for me and I belong in IB or whatever.
