RJ vs Piper vs Solomon vs BDO

Hi everyone,

Currently at the end of my FT recruiting after working at a boutique last summer. I have 3 final rounds and 1 2nd round coming up in the next couple weeks.

Wanted to get everyone's opinion on these 4 banks. All 4 are in T2/T3 cities (MIA/DC/TPA) and RJ/Piper/Solomon are specific groups (HC Tech/A&D/Distribution).

Context:

BDO may seem random here but they're opening 3 brand new M&A offices opening 2026, so I would be a first-year hire and I'm thinking that could play out well for me promotion and responsibility wise.

Piper recently acquired G^2 Capital Partners so it would be under that former team, any color on them would be appreciated.

Not sure what the long-term goal is yet, but want to keep my options open for MM/LMM PE and GE if possible

When did you get Solomon and BDO 💀. Had 1st round with Solomon like 3 weeks ago and BDO I’m still coffee chatting for Richmond
