There is lots of restructurings. You could turn up on your first day, and your MD has been let go, left to another bank, or your role has changed completely.

Think most of the RX is over now.

Only heard a minor cull (7-9) in DCM in August – aside from that, haven't seen any movement that is out of the ordinary for most banks (aside from aggressive hiring of the JPM MDs/Co-heads)

Citi.

More prestigious and global bank, easier to become a career banker given the cross-selling capabilities working at a BB (easier to win clients), strong internal geographical mobility if wanting to move abroad too. Better MF/UMM PE exits if you're interested in that given higher average deal sizes (£2bn+ on average vs. £500m at Roths), with optionality to move into MM PE if you'd like too. Bank is clearly on the up too, rising heavily in the league tables in both EMEA/US.

Only choose Roths if you prefer working on sell-side mandates, strongly interested working in MM PE long-term, or are looking to move to Paris.
