The past couple of years have seen huge bonuses due to crazy deal flow in capital markets / M&A. Was wondering if analyst comp in a group like RX is tied more closely to overall firm performance or group performance? Do RX bankers get busier in recession and get screwed for bonuses with the opposite being true in bull runs?
