Rx BigLaw to Rx IB through CBS MBA

Hey guys, CBS MBA admit here. I'm a fourth year restructuring associate at a BigLaw firm, based out in Paris. Do you think that I have a good shot at Rx IB (think, PJT RSSG, Evercore, HL or similar) post MBA? I clearly lack financial modelling skills (although am actively working on these + technicals), but would have thought that my legal knowledge of restructuring would be relevant/useful/interesting for these firms.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Edit: I’m a US citizen.

I mean I do not have the most experience in something like this but based on research ive done on MBA placements you should be fine. You just moving to somewhere else from RX big law and still in RX so you clearly have strong experience in RX. I do not think getting a position at a solid RX shop should be too much of an issue. Make sure you consider the credit investing path at CBS, I have heard of that path and pretty sure Michael Gatto has worked with them in the past. Just network and I do not see it being too much of an issue. Only thing I could see maybe posing a problem is sponsorship if you need that bc of international as you mentioned, but if sponsorship does not matter / you plan to go back to EU then you should be fine tbh.
