RX Case Studies?
Hello,
I am currently prepping to recruit for restructuring summer analyst positions. As a part of that I would like to look over case studies on old bankruptcies to better understand the process. Can anyone recommend the best was to go about finding comprehensive descriptions of the dynamics and results of a given bankruptcy?
Thanks.
I used this mock case published by Houlihan Lokey to prep for Rx interviews, I'm sure it's floating around there somewhere still.
Thanks, really appreciate your help. I've looked at the HL case -- definitely a great resource.
I was referring moreso to real past bankruptcies so that I can better understand how bankruptcy dynamics work and have changed as well as learn about some of the more creative/violent restructurings.
PM me.
@Restructuring_ on Instagram has been putting out some quick posts on select cases. They are well written and probably enough to give a good interview answer with.
For others, look up Kroll/Epiq bankruptcy dockets (link) and look for the Plan of Reorganization and First Day Declaration for the case (just use "declaration" as a keyword search for the latter and "plan" for the former). These documents are dense but they are the best public sources of information you’ll most likely be able to find.
Here's the FTX docket (just First Day, no Plan yet) as an example.
Happy hunting
