RX Lateraling

Can anyone add advice or insight on the process for M&A analysts looking to switch banks to do RX? I am just starting as a 1Y analyst and regret not recruiting FT for RX roles after learning/reading more about it.

With the current state of the market, will RX groups increase their lateral hiring needs as the debt markets spill over/possible recession over the next 24 months?
