If you're using the word "capital markets" corretly then it's either ECM, DCM, or LevFin. If that's the case, a stint with GS will defintely help you to move into M&A (I'm assuming that's what you mean with IBD).
If you're referring to S&T, then MM generalist IBD will help you more to end up in a top IBD shop after the summer.

I would personally go with LevFin but any vertical should be fine given you'll get return offer. Just aim towards the vertical you think you'll enjoy the most...
If you're in GS LevFin, I would take that as I have seen people go from there to top PE firms. Also, I would look at offer rates as it will be much easier if you get a return offer.
