SA Background Check Question
I’m going to be a SA 2025. I did an unpaid internship a while back but all the people who knew me don’t work there anymore. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe all banks use a pre-employment application where you manually enter in your past employments and then have a third party go verify whatever you put on there. Can I just not put the unpaid internship onto that pre-employment application?
Bump, similar background, curious for FT background check.
I had a friend who put it on and it was a pain. The company requested the offer letter and was hesitant but it worked.
So would you recommend to just not put it on there?
If it’s on your resume I would, just make sure you have your offer letter. If not, I wouldn’t
So if you have it on resume when applying but if you don't have the offer letter anymore, you can just not put it in the background check form?
Yeah just leave it off
Just leave it off the background check. That’s what I did when I did my form and they never checked. Its a lot of pain to show paperwork for the unpaid internships
So it doesn't matter if I don't fill it on the form even if it's on my resume?
