So are banks still interviewing, or should people have heard back now about first rounds? Curious about SA interviews with BB and top boutiques.

I think it's all over the map. I had a first round with one BB this past week and am interviewing with another in a week and a half.
They have all held at least some first rounds by now. The time line is different for every school they recruit at though and some won't have started yet.
How did you apply? OCR, by referral, or just through the online system?

To be honest it's pretty much a black hole if you just applied online, so it would be more surprising to hear back than not. For referrals you should have heard back from most places by now except for maybe a few banks that do non-core recruiting later on (MS is the only one I know of that does this and they do it in February, but perhaps others do as well). I would just check with whoever referred you.
The process as of now really depends on the school/method which you applied. Every firm/division/ seems to be on their own situation in terms of having first rounds and notifying those accepted for super days -- I'd suggest just being persistent but not annoying.
