Santander bonus + promotions
Did Santander really not promote AN1 to AN2? Also heard they only gave out 15k bonuses.
Is the big dream collapsing…

bump
Can confirm both. Be aware of the graduate program is just an analyst 0 position
Can confirm untrue in US and UK, both had reasonable bonuses and 100% promotions. Can not speak for regional offices.
Santander is ass, there I said it
Moved to AN2 and at 80k, but know many people who got bad bonus and didn’t get increase in their base yoy….
Was it likely to receive the offer after the grad? With AN2 you refer after the first year as a grad?
Nah I was not a grad, transferred over. But I know the grads typically do 1-2 years and then only become AN1
The 15k bonus is not a full bonus. It's about 1/3 of the grads full bonus since the graduates have only been at their desks for a few months. They start in September, and bonuses are paid in the winter, so they've only been working for a few months, hence small bonus. Last year, Santander's bonuses in the UK were higher than those of most BBs. Also, grads are promoted to AN2 after finishing grad scheme.
It sounds pretty good. Is the salary as AN2 competitive?
I believe so
What was their full year bonus total?
