Santander? Can the new hires build it up?
I know just hiring the right people isn’t enough, but I mean they took a shit ton of CS people. Does this bode well for the future of this franchise? And is joining them now a potential to get in on something on the ground floor?

don't you think that those CS people don't see themselves as more worthy for a better bank brand and will jump ship as soon as the job market and market activity improves? think about it
Lol a lot of them had offers to join UBS but they don’t offer 1) the same pay 2) the same investment in the team in terms of future financing or wanting to finance larger more leveraged transactions
Has a large move like this happened before?
very insightful intern
I’d imagine these cs guys had some good intensive comp or guaranteed base pay
