Hi, could anyone provide some first-hand insights about Santander’s CIB Sector Teams in London?
Trying to understand the team’s positioning and recent trajectory given their rapid build-out and they have been hiring talent from top-tier institutions such as CS.
Keen to know more about:
• Overall ranking and competitiveness in IB landscape
• Reputation and deal flow
• Junior exposure
• Culture
• Compensation
• Longer-term opportunities
Any perspective would be greatly appreciated.

Barely see them on any M&A deal. I think the only one was the cinven / UAX
Levfin's probably the best group there and it's pretty good I'd say although the bank's focusing more on US now. For M&A I know they did a few infra and renewable deals like PSP airport deals, etc
Any thoughts on how good exits to BBs/EBs are? Both for Levfin and M&A
