Scheduling informational interviews, trying to get more than 1 in a day
Hi,
So I'm going to Chicago next week and am scheduling a few informational interviews. I use a brief, pretty standard message saying what days I am available and that I would be thankful for any time they can give me.
So far I have 2 coffee "dates" set up with people each around lunch time of the two main days I'll be there.
This is my first time networking outside my college city (decent sized city, but no one will confuse it for NYC/Chi, etc...). Is it typically just one a day, around lunchtime? I obviously don't want to be burdensome and be like "hey, can you meet at 10 am" or "how about 2 pm" (since they are much busier than me and are taking time out of their day, etc..) but how can I get more than 1 in a day?
I sent 4 emails out so far, two replies and I don't know if I should send another because I don't want to ask them to meet when I might not be able to. Or just gracefully say not lunchtime haha like "morning or afternoon" in the next couple emails I send.
I guess I am kinda making a big deal about nothing since if it can't work I can just email them back saying that. But I don't want to waste their time.
Thanks, any advice? I know a lot of you have experience with this,
