SCORED AN INTERNAL AUDIT INTERVIEW WITH GOLDMAN SACHS BUT PROBLEM WITH GPA

Hi guys,
I have been on this site since my freshman year of college (16 years old) but this is my first post. From what i learned about the importance of networking on the site, i decided not to get an internship this summer 2013 (sophomore) but instead move to NYC for the summer to network. I met with an associate at GS and the person was impressed by my accomplishments.
The problem was that i did not have a GPA because i transferred to well known public school from a small school but nevertheless, the person submitted my resume to HR without a GPA and put a good word for me. At the end of the semester, because of stress and anxiety of the possibility of an interview, i did terrible in fact 2.5 GPA. I just received a phone call from HR for me to set up a phone interview for the internship for this Thursday.

I need your help, I don't know what i will say about the GPA, will they automatically ding me when they find out about the GPA

PS: Now a Junior (19 years old)... this is my last chance.
Thanks in advance

You did terrible because of stress and anxiety of the possibility of an interview? What?

Yes @"Flake"i have anxiety problem and other issues which are not stated.

OP, as someone a bit older than you, I want to point out that this is not your "last" chance at anything. If this is your concern at 19, you have all the time you need to fix your situation whether or not you get this job.

Well since they are going to interview you, you at least have a chance at explaining the subpar GPA, but you are going to have to come up with a more solid explanation than the one you posted. Typically the expectation is that you will still produce good work when you are subjected to the various stressors of a job at a top tier bank whether BO, MO, or FO. Telling them that your GPA dropped because of stress and anxiety (whether related to a condition or not) may not be conducive to getting the job.

Thank you for your advise @"CorpFinHopeful"
