Searchfund sourcing

I heard the best starting experience which is easy to get is search funds and private wealth management.  i don't think i have enough experience (i have no experience in finance yet because i am a entering freshman), so i will probably apply at the end of my freshman year. i heard usually for search funds it is just sourcing a deal. I want to try sourcing and send it to search funds, as I know one that allows anyone to refer a business, and allows me to get some experience under my belt. i was wondering how do deals get sourced? what databases do they use and how do i do this solo? Thanks1
