Seeking Advice: Moving from UniCredit CIB Team to Investment Banking at Other Firms

Hey guys,

I'm a first-year master's student at a top German university, specializing in finance. Recently, I received an offer from Unicredit for their CIB team, which has made me reconsider my career plans. My original intention was to pursue a career in investment banking, and now I'm thinking of starting at Unicredit and later trying other investment banks like BNP, SG, or the transaction teams of BIG 4.

I would appreciate any advice from fellow members of this community who have experience in investment banking or have taken a similar career path. Do you think this is a good approach to building my career in this field? I'm open to any feedback and suggestions.

Thanks in advance!
