Selby Jennings - Is it that bad?

I've read a ton of posts on them - it seems like they are scam artists. Are they mainly not helpful for those who are trying to break into banking without banking experience?

I don't see how so many of their active headhunters who graduated from legitimate schools would just work at the place for the sake of scamming for compensation info.

Is there any experiences from those within banking looking to lateral within banking? My initial thought is that those who are using SJ to break into banking would clearly find no success compared to those within banking since they reach out to a high volume of candidates and thus, if you're in banking it might be easier?

Anyone have any advice - again I have read the posts - just wanted to clarify if they will ghost those who just don't have banking experience, or also will ghost those with banking experience also.
