Senior Analyst Lateral (MM Boutique, London) – Modelling + Slides Case Study Prep

Hi all,

Preparing for a middle market/boutique advisory senior analyst lateral in London (A&D specialist). I’ve got a modelling case study to do plus a short slide pack as part of the process.

I’ve already been through the WSO guidance and some FinancialEdge resources, but wondering if anyone has more targeted case study / modelling resources or examples that helped you succeed? Particularly around:
sell-side advisory modelling expectations (DCF, comps, 3-statement build-outs)
• how to structure 1–2 “output” slides for a sell-side recommendation
• any real case study walkthroughs you found useful outside the typical guides

I’ve seen some threads about case expectations for laterals. Generally people say it’s more about understanding concepts and excel competency than perfection in 2–3 hours - but still want to make sure prep is sharp.

If you’ve done something similar or have links to good example case packs / templates / critique examples, would appreciate the guidance.

Thanks in advance.
