Should I get the series 7 or 79 exam before I get recruited by any firm ? Would that make me stand out from the rest ? Better my chances of acceptance?

Bump. Do lateral candidates usually have these complete?
No need if you're still in school (new analyst / associate programs have this built into the onboarding) but SIE, 79 and 63 would increase chances as a lateral hire
