Series 79 experiences?
Taking the exam late next week, been avging 60-70 on Knopman exams, not sure if I should be worried or just continue pressing as I have been. Curious as to what everyone’s experiences as of late have been. Apologies if this is grossly redundant
You'll be fine.
Storytime: my bank required us to do the SIE, Series 79 and Series 63. I did not even look at a page until training started. After training ended, we had about 3 days of free-time to study. I probably started studying 9 days out for the SIE, ~4 days out for the 79 and day-of on the 63. I used the book for the SIE and did the practices in there. For the 79 and 63 I realized I had no time for the book so I crushed videos at 2x speed then "walked through" the mocks (re: did them knowing I would likely fail, highlighted/wrote down the questions).
Passed all 3. Not sure if it's still like this, but after you submit the last question, the computer takes ~10-30 seconds to process and then lets you know right there if you passed or not. I was scared shitless for 2 of them, mentally having calculated that I was right on the brink of passing/not.
Think/have experienced that Knopman is harder than actual questions. They do a great job though - make sure to note down structure and material type so you get a sense of which areas you are performing poorly in.
How many q’s/how were you performing on the mock exams? I’ve heard that a 65-70 translates to passing but not completely sure about that.
I was failing. Lol
Took it a few days ago, studied for a couple weeks and then didn’t start passing the practice exams until the day before the exam. Ended up passing the exam, you’ll be fine
I studied using Knopman for a little over a week and was scoring mostly mid to high 60s. I didn't pass a single practice exam. I ended up passing the actual thing (although I thought the actual exam was difficult and was expecting to see a fail when I hit submit). Just follow the action plan and you should have a good shot at passing.

I was barely breaking 70’s when I was doing the knopman practice exams last month and I passed. Practice tests are way harder
thought the 79 was substantially easier than 63 and SIE.
The memory question answer bank thing knopman provides. make sure to skim that twice over right before your test
