Should I apply now or later?

Currently looking for an internship this summer in CT I’m a sophomore btw. However my question is I saw that the 2019 JP Morgan SA apps close in September, so is it hurting me by waiting until I get hired for an internship this summer, so I can put it on my resume?

It's not recommended to put "Incoming Summer Analyst" or the like on your resume, wait until you get a job and then June 1 or whatever update your resume to reflect your current position. Most apps open in July, JPM did open early but they are largely alone. Focus on getting something for this summer.

I think the general consensus now is that you SHOULD put "incoming summer analyst" if you have a good internship for this summer, cause that's one of the biggest criteria for junior year internships and classes might be filled by the time summer actually comes around

I agree with you Mayhem. Tbh some firm I just applied for an EB specifically wrote int he qualifications to say what you will be doing this summer/note it on your resume

-But I am not sure, about main Q- b/c is it better to wait if you are going to raise your GPA/figure out about a good internship? not sure
