Should I attach my resume in cold outreach emails?

I’m a sophomore at a non-target school hoping to break into an internship for Summer 2027. In my cold outreach emails, should I attach my resume? I feel like if someone sees that I have a solid resume, they might give me some time, and at worst it can’t hurt. However, I’m worried that adding a PDF attachment might cause my email to get blocked or filtered into another inbox. What is the better thing to do?

Plenty of threads that answer this question. Also, why would anyone talk to you if they know nothing about you?

always worth a shot, came from a non-target and pretty much all of the opportunity I got was from straight randoms
