Should I delay my graduation if I am not going to be on campus for a year?
My school recently announced that students won't be on campus for the entire year. I don't want to pay for full-tuition online school for a year, so would it be acceptable to delay graduation by one year and apply for SA2022? I am looking at working and traveling if I can during this break, so would be a gap-year of sorts. Would any bank look at this negatively?
If you're going to one of the most elite schools in the world I don't think that they would care at all.
Harvard kid? Feeling your pain bud. I think if you’re doing something productive (I.e don’t just say you’re going to travel and just kick back) you could spin it well. I don’t think it’s an automatic ding but still am following to hear other opinions.
assuming you go to harvard, take a gap year and do something meaningful (internships / start a non-profit etc) and it should honestly help as you develop unique talking points with a more nuanced resume
na
how are you going to "travel" or "study abroad" or even "do something in finance" that's not remote? Many have considered gap years but its literally during covid-19 so you can't do anything besides stay home
