Should I follow-up again?

I interviewed with Ferghana Partners in NYC on February 6th, as the first round and I believe they only do two rounds for their summer analyst internship. I have not heard back from the analyst that interviewed me since then, and I followed up with him around February 20th. He has not responded, it has almost been a month since the initial interview. Should I email him again? If so, how should I approach this?

Well I am, but the thing is during our interview he told me that if I did not hear back from him in a while, do not "think the worst" because apparently he was the only one conducting these interviews and there were a lot of applications. I just assumed that while meant a couple weeks, but to not hear back in a month is a pretty long time. Should I just send a second follow-up? Or don't even bother

Follow up but don't hold your breath. It could be the case that he hasn't given you a response because of the reason he told you, but oftentimes banks will not let you know regarding a ding until they have their entire class filled out (so that way, they can always extend you an offer a few days or weeks after the interview if they have people turn it down). Best of luck.

Bullshit he's the only taking the interviews. If he told you that in the interview, I wouldnt have taken it as a great sign because every firm has a HR team to at least send out decisions for progression on the process. Assume you didnt get it and move on.

Alright thanks for all the input. I'll reach out to him again and see what happens, but trust me im not really expecting much from it at this point.
