Should I give up on FT IB recruiting?

Have SA26, did not convert, sadly. I do have people who’d probably vouch for me. At this point in the timeline, should I just give up? I am aiming LMM/MM/boutique. I also am interested in consulting and I’m wondering if I should just focus my energy entirely there. I am willing to put in the work, but I’m wondering if any doors are still even open.

Pretty much only looking at NYC, and that’s great to hear. Definitely happy to look at boutiques, I am not super interested in BB/EBs, and I don’t see myself going to PE anyways.

Brother i would not give up at all. It is still very possible land roles. I know a lotta kids who didn't get return offers and all of our seniors told them to reach back out near march after bonuses (cause a lotta analysts will quit) So there really always is opportunities opening up

You're in a decent spot to shift your efforts entirely to consulting and land well tbh, if that's something you're interested in

That's up to you to decide, it's not over until it's over. At the same time, you likely would have a lot better luck with shifting your focus to consulting unless you target small IB boutiques.

Fixable feedback and I have people that would advocate for me. I also don’t want to go back. I wouldn’t delay a year personally, would be a financial burden and I’m not that prestige obsessed.
