Just had a first round. I want to send a thank you, but the interview was booked by an HR intern rather than the interviewer.
I know the interviewer's email (based on the email formatting of the company), but wondering if emailing him without him giving his email would be weird.

I always did when I interviewed, figured others are more likely not to since the email isn’t super public. But who the hell knows what the person on the other side thought and I’m sure it differs person to person. I wouldn’t overthink it too much.
just do it. Odds are that they probably won't respond, or if they do they will send a short blurb back
