Should I think about re recruiting?

I'm starting full-time at a boutique in 2027. I really enjoyed my summer internship, liked the people I worked with, and felt like the culture was pretty good (could be naive).

My main concern is exit opportunities and brand name. A lot of posts on here make it seem like it's BB or bust, especially if you eventually want to move to PE/VC.

How much does starting at a boutique actually limit your options compared to a UMM or BB? Is it realistic to move to a larger bank later, or am I putting myself at a disadvantage from the start?

I'm trying to figure out whether I should be happy with a role I genuinely liked or keep chasing a bigger name for the potential exits.

Would appreciate hearing from people who have actually gone through the process.
