SIE, Series 67, 79 as a Student
Am currently a rising junior who’s accepted a SA role. Correct me if I’m wrong, but once I’m (hopefully) FT I’ll have to pass the above exams. Is there any point of taking them early? Would there be anything wrong with prepping and taking them this year? Do they expire/how long do I need to have them?
Would be FT after graduating in 2024. I know it’s super early but would just appreciate hearing the timeline for this.
SIE lasts 4 years and the Series exams last 2 years. So as long as you work at a FINRA regulated firm within 2 years, you should be fine.
I am also curious to know if it would be beneficial to take these while still in college and which exams are usually required in IB though if anyone has those answers.
