Signed new offer have 3 weeks of down time. What should I do?

As title mentions, locked into a new job offer. Have 3 weeks of down time with nothing planned and a lot of cash saved up.

Was thinking of travelling to LATAM (Chile Peru and Argentina) or go to Europe. Was thinking I could fly out of NYC to Budapest and leave through London. Do not know what to do in between.

Any tipes/pointers? Have never travelled solo before and am leaning to go to Europe more than LATAM.

Europe is the way. Lots of people speak English, easy to hop on a plane or train and get somewhere within a few hours. In 3 weeks I'd do 4-5 cities, a few days in each just to see different places. LATAM is cool but I think you'd have to have more of a plan for it to be worth it.

Fly to Budapest ASAP, book a 4 day hotel and plan your trip in that time. I'd definitely check out the group travel websites like Intrepid (leans older) or EF Ultimate Break (college kids) - either to get on one so you're not solo and don't have to think about where you're going, or just to look at their routing and see how to get from point A to point B.
