Skipping a few days during full time training?

Hello,

I will be starting full time training at a BB soon and was wondering how strict do they usually check attendance? I am doing another business on the side and might miss a few days to fly to other cities to meet with clients.

Has anyone missed a few days of training before?

Thanks,

Are you seriously considering doing that?

"I do not think that there is any other quality so essential to success of any kind as the quality of perseverance. It overcomes almost everything, even nature."

HR would tell me. I would care. If I found our you had a business on the side, no FT offer for you.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.

Actually, no FT offer even if you didn't tell me you had another business. Skipping training tells me you think you know better than us what you need to know. I don't want to have to deal with that arrogance

i was at GS/MS/JP and nobody ever noticed if you were or werent there. i skipped 2 days because i was apartment hunting one day and signing the lease / dealing with paperwork for the other. for the first day nobody noticed and for the second i just said i was sick and that was the end of it. that said youll need to gauge how strict (or not strict) your HR is.

If you've already been placed and you majored in finance, no need to stick around. I peaced out after lunch every day at training.

Focus on the things that matter... like bagging an HR chick
