Hello all,
I am currently in the process of interviewing with SMBC and their structured finance team (Think ABCP, ABS, CLO's). I am currently in a role where i perform fundamental analysis on companies and want to continue to do that in some capacity in the future. I realize that if get this role I will not be doing much of that however "you gotta do what you gotta do" to break into IB in some capacity. What are the potential exit ops from that role? I was thinking DCM but to be frank I have no idea.
